This call script gives you tools to use when you call your state lawmakers to voice your support for Medical Aid in Dying. Please feel free to use what works for you and add your own personal touch. Please be polite when you call.
You are welcome to print out and share this Fact Sheet. It can spark a great conversation. We can also mail you rack cards. Please email info@OhioOptions.org with your full name, physical mailing address, and the number of rack cards you would like mailed to you.
This information provides you with baseline facts and language about The U.S. Model of Medical Aid in Dying. You don’t need to be an expert or memorize anything. As you move through these tools, you will build confidence in discussing why you support access to Medical Aid in Dying for eligible terminally ill adults.
