Ohio does not have a Death with Dignity law like those in Oregon, Washington, Vermont, California, Colorado and Washington D.C.

Because of this, Ohio End of Life Options’ purpose is to engage in educational and advocacy activities regarding end-of-life choices, with the aim of helping people legally achieve their wishes for a peaceful and dignified death.

Ohio End of Life Options is a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization aiming to have legislation proposed in Ohio similar to the Death with Dignity Laws in Oregon, Washington, Vermont,  California, Colorado and Washington D.C.

We believe in patient-directed end-of-life care and expanded choice for the terminally ill. We do not suggest, encourage, or promote suicide or euthanasia.

Meet Hannah Kent, our CWRU bioethics student volunteer. She’ll be bringing her energy and knowledge to our cause. “Learning about death really teaches you about life and how to live it. Go and live your life until death is the only thing you haven’t tried.”
