Join Lisa and the rest of our group in reading the latest book by #1 New York Times Bestselling author Jodi Picoult, The Book of Two Ways.
“[A] delightfully escapist, high-concept novel . . . The Book of Two Ways nearly spills over in its earnestness and emotion. . . . This is a book of big, burning questions such as what defines a great life.”—BookTrib
“Picoult’s fans will be more than ready for this puzzle of a novel. . . . [They] will find heady themes to consider.”—Booklist
The Book of Two Ways is the first work of fiction for our book club, just when we could all probably use a little break. It is still very closely connected to our work at Ohio End of Life Options, however. The main character, Dawn, is a death doula. Dawn helps the dying have the death they want but her own near-death experience starts Dawn wondering if she has had the life she wants.
This is a new release, so it will be easy to find at your library, digitally, or at your favorite bookstore or Amazon.
