  • Dr. Donald Moore, End of Life Options Learning Series
    Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 6:30pm via Zoom The Physician Experience with End-of-Life Healthcare California passed its End of Life Options Act in 2016. This law allows mentally capable, terminally ill adults the option to request and receive medication that they can choose to take to die peacefully in their sleep. Dr. Moore will give us a behind-the-scenes look at how assisted dying works in a state with the law.

Executive Director Invited to Speak at National Oncology Nursing Society Congress

Kentucky Doctors Voice Support

Doctors who specialize in geriatric medicine say they’re seeing Kentuckians with advanced cancer and other serious illnesses travel out of state to end their lives on their own terms. It may mean going to Oregon, which as of [4/1/2022] will no longer require a person to establish residency to be eligible for medical aid in dying.
